Our Exciting Week Of MIU Open House
The second MIU Open House was held on February 24th, 2008. This was an
exciting day for everyone, including teachers, parents, and students. The
preparations for this day were long, yet fun and the hard work definitely paid off.
To encourage and motivate students, our school held a competition. The younger
students were challenged to memorize the 99 Names of Allah (SWT), while the
older ones endeavored to memorize the first 25 ayahs of Surah Ar-Rahman. This
challenge was well received by all of our students and we had approximately 33
students competing.
Aside from these individual student competitions, we also had a class decorating
competition. The winners of this were Level 3 and the Youth Girls. Congratulations
to you all! Mashallah, our Open House was successful and we hope everyone
enjoyed it.
A special thank you to all the MIU students for your hard work.
